A – Activate
God has given each of us a unique gifting, a spiritual fingerprint. Every gift is needed and should be activated. At Innovation we start with an “activate conversation.” A facilitator from our church family is ready to guide you through some simple questions. We want to know what you would like to see happen in your life in terms of spiritual and personal growth. We’ll meet with you on campus, in your home, at a coffee shop, wherever it’s convenient. Based on your responses we’ll make some suggestions regarding resources at Innovation and in the community for personal growth, spiritual growth and developing your life mission as a follower of Christ.
B - Belong
We all need time to debrief – to examine what we’re learning from the perspective of our faith and personal experiences. This is why a small “Life Group” is so important. Each group is multi-generational and focuses on Sunday’s teaching. What did you take away from it? What are a few things you will do with what you heard? We also need feedback on our life mission. As you’ve been blessing people, what have you noticed about them, about God and about yourself? And we all need a spiritual family to discuss life with – our challenges and victories.
C - Cultivate
Faith feeds on the Word of God because the Word is what faith trusts. Where trustworthy words are not present, faith has nothing to bite into. That’s the nature of faith. It exists by what it trusts. If we do not feed it with a substantial diet of life-giving truth, it will shrivel. Your facilitator will also follow-up with you, offering resources for personal and spiritual growth. These include: seminars, workshops, life groups, classes, study groups, personal coaching and community opportunities. All resources focus on biblical principles applied to your personal life experience and challenges.
